"LoL."

June 22, 2008 – While tropical depression Frank was busy working his magic on our country, Clan Exiled was gathered on the dry, cracked grounds of Nanke Village as they geared up for the 2 p.m. attack on Silk Mountain; their gateway into Guardians territory. While everyone was still in high spirits—due to the recent victories over major clans—everyone knew better than to be overconfident.

The battle opened with Exiled’s standard mid-lane rush, which ended up all the way to the Guardians’ middle base entrance, destroying the three towers they’ve managed to build (one tower in the mid lane which was immediately smashed as soon as it was put up). The rest was pretty straightforward. After four waves and forty-something minutes, Guardians’ CB was destroyed.

Frankly, it was a pretty boring battle. Guardians claims they were short on men since there were only 60+ of them online at that time. To which this writer says (and yes, there’s more than one poster on this blog): Whatever. I’m sure Exiled looks forward to facing you “in full force”. Even then, it’s almost certain the excuses will never stop.

Because, in other news….

At a pathetic attempt at justifying consecutive losses, certain Guardians members cried “foul!” and claimed that Exiled members have been using third-party programs (i.e. h4xX d00dz l0lz!!1!) during their battles, explaining the swift victories. Although it's highly unlikely that such programs even exist for Perfect World, it was this writer’s duty to ask TheDoctor if he had knowledge of these accusations, or if there’s any truth to them. It was a short interview.

Me: “Doc, according to [Guardians], certain Exiled members are using stat editors and 1-hit hacks, explaining Guardians members’ dying all over the place. What is your response to this?”

TheDoctor: “LoL.

Like I said, it was a pretty short interview. All I can say is, I expected better from Guardians. It’s a game. You get your fair share of losses as you do your wins. Got beaten? Suck it up like a champ and get back at your opponents. Spreading rumors to destroy your opponent’s credibility? That’s just low; and just plain…gay. Whatever respect and/or admiration I had for them is now gone.

Note: This author’s opinions is not necessarily shared by Clan Exiled, its officers, and its members.

The Story Behind the Exiled-IPX Alliance

There were many speculations on how this alliance has ended, some say that Exiled betrayed IPX by breaking the alliance without their knowledge and some say that Exiled back stabbed IPX when they attacked it.

This is not true.

Let us start from the very beginning when Exiled was formed. This clan was considered neutral and has already ended their alliances with the other clans during it's "Mythical" state. However, the enemy is still the same. Mythical was no more as their master has officially stepped out leaving the clan vulnerable and weakened. As the Tiger Champions of 2007 created this clan, the Mythical aspect of the clan was already wiped clean. Exiled did not receive any funding from Mythical as their marshal RNurseMe corrupted the funds for his own usage. The first attack was funded by the officers as part of their duty to the clan. The attack was a success and Tiger Server knew that this clan shouldn't be taken lightly.

And so came the offer for alliance, ipis talked to the Councils of Exiled to form an alliance. A week later the alliance was formed. Exiled begun their attacks on claiming lands and slowly reaching Kairus, one of Tiger Server's power house clan. Little did Exiled know, during the claiming campaign, IPX forged an alliance with Guardians, a clan opposing to Exiled ever since the beginning. Having heard of this, the councils of Exiled has decided to break their alliance with IPX. The councils of Exiled began talking with the councils of IPX to formally end the alliance, however, it would seem that the councils of IPX hid that fact to their master, ipis. A world chat was also given to announce publicly that Exiled and IPX are no longer allies.

Let the people in the dark be enlightened. And now, tell us who was betrayed?

T-Shirt Contest Update

Due to busy schedules, the T-Shirt contest voting will be moved June 23 - June 30. Winners will be announced a week after.

A Weekend of Chaos and Redemption

June 15, 2008 - It has been a hectic weekend for Exiled, as they fought three major battles in three days against two of Tiger Server’s biggest and most experienced clans; Fidelis and the Tiger Server Juggernaut, the Guardians.

First off was the defense of Weak Water territory against Fidelis, whose ranks as we all know, have been recently reinforced by Decima. While the threat of losing Weak Water was real, TheDoctor decided to use this opportunity to work on different war formations with his officers. This resulted in both sides taking offensive stances. Apparently, the said experiments went well for Exiled; an hour and thirty-four minutes later, Fidelis’ Central Building was smashed.

Saturday’s battle was something that the entire server has been looking forward to in a long time. The air was thick with tension, as all eyes of Tiger were on this face-off between Exiled and Guardians. Everybody expected the clash to be of epic proportions, and it really was—albeit short-lived. Everything started out in a flurry. It was a fast-paced exchange of offensives, as waves upon waves from each side tried to push each other’s forces back into their half of the battle map; something that Guardians almost succeeded in doing. The sheer might of their forces was indeed overwhelming. Be it luck, or be it something else, Exiled’s last effort at a push was something that Guardians wasn’t able to repel, and ended up all the way to the Guardians CB. All this action happened within the 51 intense minutes that the battle took.

A lazy Sunday afternoon’s silence has been shattered with another match against Fidelis, which Exiled anticipated to be even bloodier than the recent battles with this formidable clan. This notion was proven wrong however, when an apparent miscommunication (this author refuses to call it incompetence) between Fidelis members caused them to fail to build towers along the middle lane—a failure Exiled immediately took advantage of, as their catapults breezed beyond the tower spots and all the way into the heart of the Fidelis base. The battle was over within twenty minutes.

Needless to say, Clan Exiled members and officers alike expressed great satisfaction in the results of their efforts.

“More than anything, it’s the cooperation among members and their compliance with the officers’ commands that played major factors in our success. If this keeps up, there’s little we could not overcome in the battles ahead of us,” Major XiaoLyn said in a separate interview.

As of this writing, Fidelis—long considered to be a major threat to Exiled’s interests, is no more. Former members are scattered and have been sighted being either clanless or under new banners. The handful of members left to them could do little or nothing on their own. The threat that was Fidelis is now broken, and this writer is excited as to what Clan Exiled’s next move will be.

Desert Sea now Belongs to Exiled

June 8, 2008 - Another victory in the hands of Exiled as they crushed the combined forces of Fidelis, Decima, Guardians Extension and TriboPipo and claimed Desert Sea. It was another grueling battle that lasted for about 2 hours and 30 minutes.

The war started off with 100+ people online on the clan. Unfortunately, due to the 80 people limit several people weren't able to get in, including the members of the special parties. At the first half of the hour, there were only two cata bearers inside and their support YuLing is still stuck outside. It was an all out war on the middle lane as the members rushed towards the enemy camp. Even though Exiled has 2 catapults, they managed to destroy all the towers in the mid lane. Victory was just a step away, however Fidelis recovered and was able to push back Exiled's rush attack.

Then, the master asked the clan members without amulets to give way for the core members. Other players obliged but others were stubborn. Despite of the stern warning, they still continued to fight. As hard as it might have been for the master to kick members out of the field, TheDoctor finally kicked 2 members out to give way for the core members of the war. The catapult party was set and the war rages on. Slowly but surely, the catapult team destroyed all the wall towers and was ready to take on the inner towers.

However, Fidelis managed to break through Exiled's anti-catapult party and was able to sneak into the base. Unfortunately, this move weakened Fidelis' force considerably and Exiled was able to push inside their base. With the left inner tower destroyed, the catapult team heads for the the central building. However, Fidelis was also inside Exiled's camp but was crushed. 50% was left on Exiled's Central building while Fidelis has only 10% left. Only 1 hour and 30 minutes were remaining.

Because of this, the members became pumped up and didn't mind the commands. For 1 hour, Fidelis' Central building was at 10% but Exiled's Central Building recovered to 70%. Recovering from a mistake, the strike team improved and the catapult party of Fidelis never did have any significant damage to Exiled's central building.

One big push later, Fidelis' Central building was obliterated.

Next war, TheDoctor anticipates another dual attack from Guardians and Fidelis (fortified with Decima, TriboPipo, and Guardians Extension) since it was clear that a reinforced clan was not enough to bring Exiled down.

TheDoctor attains Rank 8

Yet again, another milestone for Exiled, as their Master, TheDoctor has finally attained Rank 8. TheDoctor will be forever be immortalized in Perfect World Philippines as the first ever YuLing Class and the first character in Tiger Server to attain Rank 8. Before his achievement was announced, TheDoctor playfully edited the Clan Declaration to be online at 6pm. Together with his fame hunt party, they said that he was stepping down as a master, which is a bit true since it's bidding time and the master rank is passed on to his Marshal, Ephipany, for bidding.

After giving a long heart warming speech, skies were filled with fireworks when the Rank 8 announcement was given.

The Speech:

I don't know how to start this XD
Allow me to thank all the special people in my PW Life
To Janepher, thank you for sharing me Your blessings and giving me support
To XiaoLyn, thank you for the dedication and encouragement
To BUNGO, thank you for the sacrifice and time
To RaspBerry, thank you for the patience and support
To QT_May, thank you for the m0ral support and loyalty
To Zieggy, thank you for being a tank that I can rely on
To bLuE, thank you for the knowledge and the courage
To Ephipany, thank you for being responsible and trustworthy
To Digilex, thank you for the experiences and the knowledge
To Jeadz, thank you for being a true friend.
To HyprAngel members, thank you for the support that you have given me
To Exiled, my clan and my family, thank you for the loyalty and the dedication that you have shown me and the clan. Thank you for not giving up when we are at the lowest point in our PW life.
For honor! For strength! For glory!
Exiled, I offer this achievement to you...

However, rumors began circulating in Perfect World that TheDoctor used Exiled's clan funds to attain Rank 8. Fortunately, these were just rumors and TheDoctor has verified that there is no truth to this. He even pointed out the voting points which clearly states a huge spending was done in order to achieve this.

He states, "I even achieved Rank 7 long before I became Master of Exiled. However, my cover has been blown when a member saw me wearing the Rank 7 robes recently. Since there is no denying it, I admitted that I am indeed Rank 7. However, I did not tell anyone that I am already nearing Rank 8. When my friends knew this, they immediately assembled a party to boost my fame."

Finally, he assures everyone that he will not quit. He will still be the master of Exiled and will not leave them in an unstable state.

Exiled Welcomes Hyper Angels

History is being set as HyprAngel, TheDoctor's home clan, is being absorbed by Exiled. There has been rumors going around for quite sometime that HA and Exiled would soon be fighting side by side in all the Territorial Wars to come. Now it is confirmed and the transferring process has already begun. However, many are speculating that this will only be a temporary boost to Exiled's growing roster since HA will soon leave Exiled after the Warlord's Circle is finished.

This is not true.

HA is now a part of Exiled. There is no import or temporary boost of power. In the weeks to come, the assimilation process will begin. Little by little, HA members who has reached the level requirement set by Exiled will be transferring to Exiled. The clan officers are now actively weeding out all the inactives of the clan.

Welcome to Exiled, HyprAngel!

Weak Water Siezed from Fidelis

June 1, 2008 - It was another swift war as Exiled immediately destroyed the Central Building of Fidelis in Weak Water. Oddly enough, there was no Fidelis members in the map and it would seem that they have given up.

According to TheDoctor, "It is an empty victory. It saddens me that Fidelis eventually gave up. They were once a formidable foe. However, it would not stop us from our crusade on claiming our lands."

There were rumors that Fidelis members transferred to the new online game Cabal Online since it went open beta last week. There is also another rumor that Decima will be absorbed by Fidelis and Guardians will send some forces as well to Fidelis (This is not a rumor anymore due to recent sightings of Decima and Guardians members in Fidelis.).

Will Exiled dare to bid 200m on a newly reinforced Fidelis force? We'll find out soon enough.
