"LoL."

June 22, 2008 – While tropical depression Frank was busy working his magic on our country, Clan Exiled was gathered on the dry, cracked grounds of Nanke Village as they geared up for the 2 p.m. attack on Silk Mountain; their gateway into Guardians territory. While everyone was still in high spirits—due to the recent victories over major clans—everyone knew better than to be overconfident.

The battle opened with Exiled’s standard mid-lane rush, which ended up all the way to the Guardians’ middle base entrance, destroying the three towers they’ve managed to build (one tower in the mid lane which was immediately smashed as soon as it was put up). The rest was pretty straightforward. After four waves and forty-something minutes, Guardians’ CB was destroyed.

Frankly, it was a pretty boring battle. Guardians claims they were short on men since there were only 60+ of them online at that time. To which this writer says (and yes, there’s more than one poster on this blog): Whatever. I’m sure Exiled looks forward to facing you “in full force”. Even then, it’s almost certain the excuses will never stop.

Because, in other news….

At a pathetic attempt at justifying consecutive losses, certain Guardians members cried “foul!” and claimed that Exiled members have been using third-party programs (i.e. h4xX d00dz l0lz!!1!) during their battles, explaining the swift victories. Although it's highly unlikely that such programs even exist for Perfect World, it was this writer’s duty to ask TheDoctor if he had knowledge of these accusations, or if there’s any truth to them. It was a short interview.

Me: “Doc, according to [Guardians], certain Exiled members are using stat editors and 1-hit hacks, explaining Guardians members’ dying all over the place. What is your response to this?”

TheDoctor: “LoL.

Like I said, it was a pretty short interview. All I can say is, I expected better from Guardians. It’s a game. You get your fair share of losses as you do your wins. Got beaten? Suck it up like a champ and get back at your opponents. Spreading rumors to destroy your opponent’s credibility? That’s just low; and just plain…gay. Whatever respect and/or admiration I had for them is now gone.

Note: This author’s opinions is not necessarily shared by Clan Exiled, its officers, and its members.

The Story Behind the Exiled-IPX Alliance

There were many speculations on how this alliance has ended, some say that Exiled betrayed IPX by breaking the alliance without their knowledge and some say that Exiled back stabbed IPX when they attacked it.

This is not true.

Let us start from the very beginning when Exiled was formed. This clan was considered neutral and has already ended their alliances with the other clans during it's "Mythical" state. However, the enemy is still the same. Mythical was no more as their master has officially stepped out leaving the clan vulnerable and weakened. As the Tiger Champions of 2007 created this clan, the Mythical aspect of the clan was already wiped clean. Exiled did not receive any funding from Mythical as their marshal RNurseMe corrupted the funds for his own usage. The first attack was funded by the officers as part of their duty to the clan. The attack was a success and Tiger Server knew that this clan shouldn't be taken lightly.

And so came the offer for alliance, ipis talked to the Councils of Exiled to form an alliance. A week later the alliance was formed. Exiled begun their attacks on claiming lands and slowly reaching Kairus, one of Tiger Server's power house clan. Little did Exiled know, during the claiming campaign, IPX forged an alliance with Guardians, a clan opposing to Exiled ever since the beginning. Having heard of this, the councils of Exiled has decided to break their alliance with IPX. The councils of Exiled began talking with the councils of IPX to formally end the alliance, however, it would seem that the councils of IPX hid that fact to their master, ipis. A world chat was also given to announce publicly that Exiled and IPX are no longer allies.

Let the people in the dark be enlightened. And now, tell us who was betrayed?

T-Shirt Contest Update

Due to busy schedules, the T-Shirt contest voting will be moved June 23 - June 30. Winners will be announced a week after.

A Weekend of Chaos and Redemption

June 15, 2008 - It has been a hectic weekend for Exiled, as they fought three major battles in three days against two of Tiger Server’s biggest and most experienced clans; Fidelis and the Tiger Server Juggernaut, the Guardians.

First off was the defense of Weak Water territory against Fidelis, whose ranks as we all know, have been recently reinforced by Decima. While the threat of losing Weak Water was real, TheDoctor decided to use this opportunity to work on different war formations with his officers. This resulted in both sides taking offensive stances. Apparently, the said experiments went well for Exiled; an hour and thirty-four minutes later, Fidelis’ Central Building was smashed.

Saturday’s battle was something that the entire server has been looking forward to in a long time. The air was thick with tension, as all eyes of Tiger were on this face-off between Exiled and Guardians. Everybody expected the clash to be of epic proportions, and it really was—albeit short-lived. Everything started out in a flurry. It was a fast-paced exchange of offensives, as waves upon waves from each side tried to push each other’s forces back into their half of the battle map; something that Guardians almost succeeded in doing. The sheer might of their forces was indeed overwhelming. Be it luck, or be it something else, Exiled’s last effort at a push was something that Guardians wasn’t able to repel, and ended up all the way to the Guardians CB. All this action happened within the 51 intense minutes that the battle took.

A lazy Sunday afternoon’s silence has been shattered with another match against Fidelis, which Exiled anticipated to be even bloodier than the recent battles with this formidable clan. This notion was proven wrong however, when an apparent miscommunication (this author refuses to call it incompetence) between Fidelis members caused them to fail to build towers along the middle lane—a failure Exiled immediately took advantage of, as their catapults breezed beyond the tower spots and all the way into the heart of the Fidelis base. The battle was over within twenty minutes.

Needless to say, Clan Exiled members and officers alike expressed great satisfaction in the results of their efforts.

“More than anything, it’s the cooperation among members and their compliance with the officers’ commands that played major factors in our success. If this keeps up, there’s little we could not overcome in the battles ahead of us,” Major XiaoLyn said in a separate interview.

As of this writing, Fidelis—long considered to be a major threat to Exiled’s interests, is no more. Former members are scattered and have been sighted being either clanless or under new banners. The handful of members left to them could do little or nothing on their own. The threat that was Fidelis is now broken, and this writer is excited as to what Clan Exiled’s next move will be.
